The aims of the Centre of Political Studies

The aims of the Centre of Political Studies are to:

• Design and implement political and sociological studies.
• Contribute to the continuous promotion of the educational and research activities of the Dept. of Political Science and History, Panteion University, in cooperation with the staff, under and post-graduate students, as well as other Centres within the Department.
• Collaborate with other educational, research and scientific institutions as well as public and private entities from Greece and abroad, in topics of shared interest concerning political – sociological research, and to illustrate and disseminate the research results.
• Undertake further initiatives for the realization of the Centre's aims, always abiding by the rules of academic and research ethics.

The Centre of Political Studies, in order to achieve the above aims, is engaged in activities which include:

• Conducting research programmes.
• Publishing of scientific papers, books and/or journals.
• Organizing conferences, meetings, lectures, workshops and seminars.
• Creation of a library and an Archive of Primary Material (Data) – conventional and electronic.
• Providing consulting services, with the precondition that they abide by the rules of academic and research ethics.
